This is how the ragtime pieces by George Hamilton Green sound. Interlake has at least one of these written for 4 marimba players and a xylophone soloist. Who wants to try one?

Mr. Kim can borrow marimbas from the middle school and probablyanother school. In the mean time you do have vibraphones to use instead of marimbas.

It will be lots of fun as long as we break it into chunks and practice slow. If we do this then people will discover all the cool little licks and they'll play them over and over and get faster at them and have fun. If we don't break it into chunks they'll just think it's too hard.

We don't have marimbas though... ;o;

Really excited for playing this. I really need to start getting organized though.
