The Pan Leggo Steelband was formed in 1994 by four former members of the Oberlin Steel Orchestra who were dedicated to spreading the joy of steelband music. Over the years a number of fine musicians, including legendary pianist Ray Holman, have played in the band and helped to keep their music fresh and vibrant.
This group is all-instrumental and is available in duo, trio, and quartet. It is best for background music and does not bring a sound system with it. Depending on how spread out your event is and how loud you want the music you may want to add your own sound reinforcement. We are happy to give our advice on sound reinforcement. Ian does not necessarily perform with this group.
